Would be good to show the step for the paperclip that is pictured.
For me clicking on the tool name in the heater column and switching it to active caused the tool to be picked up (i.e., toolchange) rather than just turning on the heater, not sure if I am doing it wrong. Obviously it still works for checking the fans though.
The metal strips have one rounded end and one flat end. This process goes much easier if you secure the flat end at the dock and feed the rounded end through the braided sleeve.
My kit did not seem to include the screw shown here, what are the specifications?
Given the extrusion is anodised shouldn’t a penetrating screw be used for this?
As by this stage I didn’t have much else left I assume these are M3x12mm above. Would be good to note that.
12mm spanner is pictured but not listed.
Some guidance as to tightness for the plastic nut would be helpful. Just hand tight or should it be slightly torqued? I gave it a very slight tighten with a wrench in my case.
I found it necessary to ream the three holes in the fan/duct to 2.5mm to prevent the screw threads engaging on the way to the mounting bracket. With he duct clipped in this was very quick and helped stopped the small tabs on the duct from flexing. Might also be worth explaining there are two longer and one shorter screw.
Previous step says prepare M3x6 rather than M3x8, based on the pictures I assume M3x6 is correct. The first tool head I assembled had 1 x M3x6 and 1x M2.5x6 in the kit which I assume was an error. The next step also says M3x8.
