Answer to: New AERO, click click clickingI've experienced two causes for clicking (skipping). The first is due to insufficient gap below the nozzle. Too close to the bed or previous layer, and so the flow is restricted. This can occur locally if there is some warp happening (warped surface is higher, etc). So look closely at the nozzle when it clicks and verify flow visually. The second cause for skipping is low nozzle temperature. If nozzle temp is too low, the gears skip due to increased viscosity/resistance to flow, etc. Don't believe your system temps displayed. Verifying your nozzle temperature with an independent measurement device (http://a.co/1yOvv6E). Another easy way to test for inadequate nozzle temperature is to increase nozzle temperature by 10-15C, and see if the clicking goes away.
