Titanium heatbreak on stock Creality Ender hot end

Hi, I was wondering if the e3d titanium heatbreak would fit on a stock creality ender 5 hotend. I spent some time doing some research but ended up just more confused by what each term actually means (is MK8 a type of hotend? nozzle? What’s the actual creality stock hotend?). I just hope someone knows if this can just be dropped in as a replacement for the ender 5 heatbreak.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi Alexandere,

Unfortunately, you would not be able to use our titanium heartbreak with your stock hotend, you would need to replace the stock hotend with one of ours in order to use our heatbreaks.

Thank you for confirming. I’ll look at the hotend and see if I can fit anything on my printer without lots of modifications. Is there any that could be a drop-in (or near drop-in) replacement? I don’t really want to fiddle with the firmware.

Hi Alexandre,

Unfortunately not, we don’t currently offer any drop-in replacement aside the Prusa HotEnds.
