Output flow mm3/s Volcano with Titan extruder

Hi E3D team, how are you doing?

Could you give mi some performance characteristics about printing fast and big, like max output flow depending nozzle size and temperature, for PLA.

Best regards,

Simon

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I have a similar question.

I am planning to print really big pieces (720 x 360 x 800 mm height, although very thins (2, maximum 3 mm thick with some kind of structure inside).

In order to do that, I am designing a large 3D printer capable to handle such a big job. Planning to use Volcano set with a e3d v6 and Titan extruder combination, I have some doubts whether that set up could be handle at least 50 mm/s of printing speed. (Printer head is a little bit heavier).

Personally I think it would be better to use 1.75 mm filament instead of 3 mm do to a faster rate of melting the plastic but I am not sure. Could you please shed some light in this particular subject?

Best regards

Rafael
