PT100 on Anycubic i3 Mega S

I installed the pt100 and amplifier board on my anycubic i3 mega s, and all went well but at room temperature (23 degrees c) it is reading 45c. Is it still safe to use at high temperatures? Will the difference always be 20c off or will the temp difference change as it gets hotter? I don’t want to set it for 400c and have it actually be at 800c or something, and posing a fire hazard.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Cody,

If the temperature reading is incorrect at room temperature it would indicate the firmware hasn’t been set up correctly or there is a fault in the PT100, have you followed the troubleshooting steps outlined here: E3D PT100 Amplifier Documentation
