PRUSA MK2 xyz calibration failed

hi, we have installed e3d in prusa mk3 everything seems to be installed OK firmware upgrade un prusa went ok but now we cannot get XYZ calibration.

mk3 does not find the first point and returns error: calibration failed

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi Ruben,

Sorry to hear you are having issues, in order to help you out further I would need a little more context, what was the e3d upgrade? and have you moved the PINDA probe position?

thanks for your response

the kit is

the pinda is is in the same place height is calibrated.

the printer prints ok but on start it keeps bumping (colliding) to the side and xyz z callibrating fails

it seem like the pinda wont find the magnet behind the bed

everything is exactly as in your instructions

changed the distances between nozzle

and sensor as described x=53 y =11

tried with different values either with no better results


Don't run the XY wizard, only use the first layer calibration. calibrating the z should be fine and I would recommend doing this as it makes sure the two lead screws are equal.
