What Vref should be set for the Compact But Powerful Extruder Motor?

Running a Titan Aero with the included Compact But Powerful Extruder Motor. Trying to set the VREF on a Tevo Tornado to the right value. The stock setting was 0.7v.

The spec sheet says it’s rated for 2.8V:

Compact but powerful motor

Several other solutions seem to indicate a range between 0.7V and 1.4V, with lower voltages seeming to cause Clicking or not turning, and higher voltages running hot.

What is the official reccomendation on the target voltage for the Compact but Powerful Motor used in a Titan Aero?

Hi Mark,

the motor current (vref setting) varies from stepper driver to stepper driver. I would suggest contacting support@e3d-online.com with this information and we will be able to help you out with the calculation.
