Mount to Anet A8
How do I mount this to Anet A8 if I cannot print a new 3d mount?
Is this a good question?
The Titan is E3D's premier extruder, and perfectly complements our full range of HotEnds to give you a flawless printing experience. With a 3:1 gearing ratio Titan can provide both the precision for detailed prints as well as the power for faster and larger printing. On top of that Titan can handle any filament, from flexible TPUs, to abrasive carbon fibers—and of course your everyday PLA and ABS.
You can purchase a basic titan mounting bracket from our website https://e3d-online.com/titan-motor-brack...
There also will have been an option when you purchased the titan to have a mount included with your order.
If you need a custom mount then we would suggest asking a friend with a 3d printer to print you a mount or alternatively look on 3d printing services such as 3dhubs or Shapeways for a suitable material for your mount to be printed in.
I have an Anet A8.
Not sure if you were asking about the mount or the more difficult issue of the carriage. If the carriage, and if you go the route of help from a friend, I can share my experience. Using my existing Anet A8, I first printed this carriage
The thing I liked about the carriage is that it allowed me to use the existing Anet bearing casings which seemed more solid than printing new bearing casings. I went with the 74 mm carriage but its worth printing the 63 mm as well I suppose.
