Retraction speed and acceleration settings

What is the recommended retraction speed and acceleration? I read the recommended ~1mm retraction distance but what about speed and acceleration, are there recommended values for these too? My problem is clicking in the titan extruder and mid project filament stoppage or breakage.

Hi Dan,

Thank you. I think I have fixed the issue. I much reduced the extruder acceleration from 1000mm/s^2 down to 350mm/s^2. and I have also reduced the retraction speed from 40mm/s to 30 mm/s and reduced retraction from 2mm to 0.8mm. No issues printing Benchy. Should I run into issues in the future I'll make sure to contact support@e3D-online.com directly,

Thank you,

Roger
