Hi Patrick,

Ideally for the Cyclops+ you would use no retraction, if you do experience a lot of stringignstringing then you can use a small value such as 0.2 - 0.5mm, however make sure you do not use retraction when changing filaments ie toolchange retractions as this can lead to jams. With the Cyclops+ you will ideally want to use a priming tower or ooze shield to switch colours, using a retraction to change the filament can cause the HotEnd to jam.

Hi Patrick,

The recommended retraction settingsIdeally for the Cyclops + is to haveCyclops+ you would use no retraction, if you do experience a starting valuelot of 1mm, if you are getting exessive stringing or blobsstringign then you can increase this value to 2mm. Don't increase theuse a small value above 2mmsuch as 0.2 - 0.5mm, however make sure you do not use retraction when changing filaments ie toolchange retractions as this can lead to molten plastic being pulled intojams. With the heat break increaseingCyclops+ you will ideally want to use a priming tower or ooze shield to switch colours, using a retraction to change the liklihood of jamsfilament can cause the HotEnd to jam.
